What are the common types of lifts and elevators used in buildings today?

Today, buildings use different types of lifts and elevators based on their height, purpose, and design. The most common type is the passenger elevator, which carries people up and down in homes, offices, and malls. These are fast, smooth, and safe for daily use.

Another type is the freight elevator, used to move heavy goods in factories or warehouses. They are stronger and bigger than passenger elevators.

There are also service elevators offered by Goods lift manufacturers, usually found in hotels or hospitals, meant for staff and equipment. In tall buildings, high-speed elevators are used to reach upper floors quickly.

Lastly, hydraulic elevators are found in low-rise buildings. They use fluid pressure instead of cables to move the lift car up and down.
